Summer is in the air!  Do you have some ideas on how to keep the kids busy and active yet?  We have a couple of small outings planned as well as camp but the majority of our summer will be spent at or near home with lots of free time.  So I like to have a few things on hand to pull out and entertain the kids when the summer boredom blues start to set in.

Sending a big thank you to GoSports for sponsoring this post!

GoSports offers an amazing variety of different games and activities that are sure to engage and excite kids of all ages.  To be completely honest, we’re not even a big “sportsy” family and we still use a ton of their products often and have loved every single one.  So today, my family wanted to share some of our favorites with you that we think would be a great addition to summer.  Whether hosting the neighborhood kids, having a play date, or just you and your child, check out some of these GoSports products.

Soft Touch Volleyball

Playing volleyball is quite popular in our area.  As I grew up, there was guaranteed to be a net set up and ready to be played at every family gathering or party.  Numbers didn’t matter as we’d pack as many people who wanted to play on the court and we had a blast.  So this GoSports regulation size Volleyball with a premium synthetic leather cover has been a great choice.  The soft-touch construction minimizes the sting on wrists and hands, perfect for those weaklings like myself who enjoys the game but doesn’t want the pain.  The butyl bladder helps maintain roundness and air pressure and they’ve even included a hand pump.

6 Pack Rubber Footballs

Tossing a football is a fun childhood experience that all kids should have.  I’m not a huge football fan but still find it really fun tossing that ball with my kids.  This six pack football set comes complete with a hand pump and mesh carrying/storage bag that can hold it all.  Whether using at home, school, camp, or anywhere, kids will love the textured surface while parents like the durable rubber construction that will offer years of enjoyment.  The all-weather design makes these balls perfect for use indoors or out.

Premier Soccer Ball

Run, kick, and score with the GoSport Premier Soccer Balls.  Available in size 3, 4, or 5, these training balls are machine stitched and well made.  The synthetic leather cover offers a great feel while holding up to practices and games.  Like their other balls, this soccer ball comes deflated but is easily ready to play by using the included hand pump.

Premium Mesh Sport Bag

Keeping our children’s balls, gear, and outdoors toys organized is probably one of our biggest struggles, especially with balls.  I’ve bought big round tubs before but they are large and bulky and there is so much wasted space in them.  So when I found the GoSports Premium Mesh Sport Bag, I was really excited.  Featuring a large 40″ x 32″ size, it can accommodate over 15 full sized balls!  Plus, it even comes with a premium hand pump to keep those balls in top notch usable condition.  Truly a lifesaver, especially when we haul our balls and gear to parks, friends houses, or parties.

Coinshot Mini Cornhole Game Set

Perfect for camping or parties, this miniature table top game brings the fun of the original size in a much more portable version.  Players trade in the typical bags for these coins and bounce them across the table to score.  On the board equals one point and in the hole is three.  Fun for kids and adults, this mini game makes the perfect gift for upcoming graduates, birthday parties, and more.

My niece has always been in to outdoor sports and she has passed that love on to her family. She is always playing with the kids with some kinda ball. She has gotten them interested in running this spring.

You can never have enough balls when you have children. I love kicking a soccer ball around myself and I’m a Grandma!

I am surprised you have cornhole! I am from the midwst so see it called that and it is quite popular here to the point of tournaments. It is a great game . I am in favor of any game that gets kids and adults outside and away from the net . Great choices!
