These days, many families are busier than ever. It’s common for younger kids to start playing sports or other after-school activities. In fact, most of the kids in my life have been in something like dance or swimming lessons before they even started school. For families with multiple children in activities, it’s just not always possible to have a family member with the child all the time. Or in other cases, it’s possible but just not practical. Then of course, at some point you want children to spread their wings a little bit, too!
Fameelee is an app that can give parents a peace of mind when their child is away from them. It’s great for everything from sleepovers, to extracurriculars, to teenagers who are new to driving, to kids who walk themselves to school. Fameelee is a family locator app that allows family members and friends to stay in touch 24/7, and to know where everyone is at all times. It offers real-time location tracking. It even can send you alerts if someone has a low battery. How cool would it be to know that your child’s battery is getting low, so you can send them a text to remind them to recharge before the phone dies? You can use the app for private and group chats, or send emergency alerts if you need help.
If you want to be notified when your child arrives or leaves a set location you can set up critical areas. Then you will know when your child arrives at school and leaves school, for example.
If you have a teen driver you can request speed limit notifications based on the speed limit that you request they stay under.
Famelee is available for iOS and Android.

If only I had had this before!

This would be perfect for my family. We are all the time asking “Where are you now” I like that it works on both OS systems.

My children are 2 and 4 years old, and this is something I’ll need to have once they get a bit older. I really like the speed limit driving indicator, as my niece died in a car crash when she was 16 when her boyfriend was speeding.

WOW this is great I can think of a lot of different ways that this would help a family. My niece needs this her two kids are always on the go.

This is such a great app, I definitely think that every parent should get it! My kids are homeschooled, but I can see why parents whose kids go to public school would benefit from this. I know that I used to walk home every day(from Kindergarten all the way until high school) and I am sure that my dad worried about me constantly. Thank you so much for sharing this. 🙂

This sounds like a wonderful app. No kids here but I can see how very useful this would be so you can know where your children are.

I see this app particularly good for parents of teens. I know most think of small kids, but really they are pretty well supervised. This as you said would be great for new drivers… they spread those wings and you wonder where it will take them and if they will make good decisions. With so many distractions now, this would be nice to see they arrived about when they were supposed to. It is horrible to ‘hover’ over a kid, but things arent the same in some ways but still the same in ohers. I could see this being very useful especially if you need it to be.

This is great for adults and teens but it would be nice if they had a bracelet for younger kiddos!! They you could really know where the WHOLE family is!! <3 I feel like Id worry about my younger child than older ones!

This is an interesting app for families. I’m not sure I would use it but I like knowing there is this option.

Can I track my cat with this? Looks like a good app for families.

This is awesome! I have two little girls that don’t leave my sight, but I know that I’ll need this when they become teenagers. I like the speed limit notification. My niece died in a car accident because her boyfriend was driving too fast and lost control of the car.

I like this. I worry about this as i get older. In the “old days”, i’d go on a state road, bike to my buddies and be gone all day before cellphones. However those days are gone and now it’s my daughter i worry about with trying to not be the “helicopter” parent or smother her, lol. I especially like how it will let ya know when she arrives or leaves a set location.
