Most children tend to love visits to the zoo. We enjoy it so much that I make a point to schedule a trip each year to our local one. While this particular zoo is a bit smaller than many others, there’s enough to do that we typically spend a minimum of 4-5 hours there. Add in the fact that it’s a short drive and still offers a nice variety of animals and it’s hard to convince me to drive the 2 hours to the closest big zoo. But since the exhibits are mainly outdoors, they close down in the winter and house the animals. So instead, I’ve found a way to bring a little animal excitement and play, year round, right to our home through ANIA Animals.

Imaginative Play
I really like these ANIA Animals as they really offer hours of open ended play. The attention to details make them look realistic while the fun extras like moveable necks, tails, or jaws really adds so much to the play. Children can dive into the world of make believe and create an amazing adventure. I think these animals can add extra fun and surprise when used in a sensory bin setting as kids find them completely irresistible. So I will be doing that from time to time as well.
Our five kiddos have been playing with our ANIA assortment practically non-stop since they’ve arrived! They just can’t get enough!

My grandson is studying the Artic Tundra in school at the moment. Last night he was making a shadowbox. He would love some of those animals to put in it.

My son absolutely adores animals and animal playsets and I can see how these can be a huge hit with him. He likes to pretend feed and put them to sleep. He also likes to make them chase each other. As you say they offer hours of open ended play great for staying indoors this winter. I am glad they also thought of Points of articulation and bendable neck. My fav are the mother Cubs pairs, which are very rare to find otherwise.

What a great set of animals! Our little guy loves animals of any sort and loves to play with animal toys for hours. He would really enjoy this set, especially with the movement they have.

Not to knock them or anything, but you’d think they’d have at least made them a little bigger. What kid is awestruck by a T-Rex that’s the size of a really big ant? And why does that Brontosaurus look like it recently underwent successful spinal surgery? He appears to wearing one of those special dog collars to keep him from nibbling on his wound.
