When you have a sick child receiving care from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, you will never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food. St. Jude believes families shouldn’t have to deal with financial stresses during this already difficult time. They want you to solely focus on your time with your child.
For over 50 years, St. Jude has been helping sick children and their families. St. Jude is well knowing for leading the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Did you know, the treatments invented at St. Jude have already helped to increase the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to 80%? Isn’t that fantastic! Hopefully in the very near future, that 80% will be 90% or even 100%!
Did you know that St. Jude has a gift shop? Yep, they do! Every purchase made at the St. Jude Gift Shop enables them to continue helping treat and support sick children. The St. Jude Gift Shop has several new items that would be perfect for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day graduation, and end of the school year teacher’s gifts. All three items are beautiful! I love knowing that not only am I giving special gifts to the women in my family but, am also helping the children of St. Jude. That is really the best part of it all!

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
