Weekend To Remember 2019 Marriage/Couples Retreat {DISCOUNT} - Sale, discount code!

I have received no compensation for this post. However, the discount code is associated with my group.

For years now, I’ve been hearing about how wonderful the Weekend To Remember Relationship & Marriage Retreat is.  But we have yet to make it.  This past year, I honestly thought we were.  I had been asking my husband about it for months and he seemed very receptive.  And one time, he even double checked the dates and made a written note.  I can’t remember the exact comment he made, but it led me to believe that he was going to line everything up for the farm and the weekend so we could attend.  But as the week approached, I learned that was not the case.  Add in the fact that we took in a last minute foster sibling placement and we missed it, yet again.  But for 2019, I’m hopeful we will finally be able to attend!

I love one of their quotes you included in your post. “Relationship is always more important than the issue” That gives me a good idea of what these retreats would be like

I havent heard of this. I think for many couples this would be terrific. So many have so little time for one another anymore. A good relationship takes work, and this would be one way to make it work better.

We went last year and loved it. Can’t wait to go this year as well. Family Lives website is offering 2019 bookings at 1/2 price when you use save50 promo code.

    Discount code is not honored.

    • Hi Philip,

I just tested the code and it is still working for me. It brings the price from $175 each down to $125 each. So if the cart is showing $125 a person, the discount is applied. (The site doesn’t show that very well.) But regular price is $175 per person. Can you please let me know if you are still having issues?

Just got back from the one in Sugarland Texas. I give the material a B – and the speakers a C. Speakers (3 in total) read most of what’s in the book and did not deviate from the material. In the book, that you follow along and fill-in, they ask very embarrassing questions, especially about your last marriage. Why do I want to be reminded of that experience? I am here and now! Yes, behaviors today are grown from behaviors of yesterday but probing in the past does nothing but create friction. I found the material good, but, there are other much better material in the market. The seminar is not taxing at all. You spend about 7 hours in the big group session and a few hours in a gender specific session. Speakers were not the best FL has to offer. Many times they shared their negative life experiences and it seemed too real and I question their stories. A few times one speaker share an experience about something and the next speaker would refute it – strange. In cousuling circle, the process is to break down a client to the point of tears and sobbing, and then start to rebuild that persons behaviors. That is a good thing I guess but not so many people are alcoholics, sex-adductors, etc. Why do these seminars have to find speakers who have been dragged through the dirt and mud to share their life-drowning experiences? I also had the chance to speak with one of the speakers in elevator after the session and he was in such as rush to get to his room we didn’t finish our conversation – I guess he needed to go to the bathroom, or maybe, he felt if he continued with the conversation he would be asked some embarrassing questions? Overall, my wife and I left before the Sunday session and were not impressed with the seminar.
