We recently built a shed on our property so that my husband has a place to work on projects and our vehicles don’t have to sit outside. It’s a pretty large shed and includes a loft space aka ‘man cave’ area. I have partnered with JBL in the past and have loved their products, so this year when I got the chance to partner with them again to showcase two of their awesome speakers I jumped at the opportunity. I gave these speakers to my husband for his birthday last month, and immediately he went to work finding them homes in our new shed.

The first speaker we received is the JBL Pulse 3. The Pulse 3 is a bluetooth speaker that is the newest speaker in the JBL Pulse lineup. It features a new waterproof design and customizable 360 degree vibrant LED light show. The Pulse 3 also features twelve hours of music and lightship playtime. It is controllable through your smartphone, tablet, or through the speaker itself. Finally, the Pulse 3 has the added ability of connecting up to three smartphones/tablets and creating a JBL ecosystem with other JBL Connect+ enabled speakers.

Although the Pulse 3 is relatively small in size, it packs a punch when it comes to sound. My husband is really impressed at the sound volume and quality that this speaker provides. My daughter loves the color-changing feature of this speaker and was loving watching it and dancing to the music when we were trying it out. 

The other speaker we got the chance to try out is the JBL Playlist. It is the first Google-Cast enabled home speaker from JBL. Using only Wi-Fi, you can access your favorite music through listening services such as Spotify and Pandora without the added need of Bluetooth capabilities. The cast button on each of these streaming services allows music to be played through the control of the smartphone without interruptions from texts and phone calls. The playlist takes the music experience one step further with the ability to connect to other JBL Google-enabled speakers. The Playlist comes in three colors: black, blue and white.
