I was sent a Kensington® SmartFit® Spin2™ Monitor Stand. All opinions are my own.
2020 has resulted in creating or upgrading home offices for so many people. Whether you didn’t even have a home office before, or whether you did but now need to make it work efficiently for more longterm use, many of us are wanting to have efficient and comfortable home offices now.
Ryan bought a new computer desk for himself around April, after realizing that his old desk just wasn’t cutting it for working from home. He also bought a new computer chair and a desk organizer, little things to make his space work better for him.
While it’s most important that his computer area works well as a computer area, we also sometimes use his monitor as a TV. He has a really large computer monitor so it works well as a TV. We rely on streaming services instead of local or cable Tv, so accessing it from a computer just makes sense. Plus, his office set up is in our living room, which is, of course, where we want to watch movies.
So we’ve been flipping his computer around, so it faces backwards when we want to use it as a TV. We’ve managed this okay, but it sometimes gets a bit messy with the cords and such.

I thought the Kensington® SmartFit® Spin2™ Monitor Stand would be a nice way to let us swivel his computer monitor in a more efficient way. It has a 360 degree spinning carrosel so that you can turn your monitor in any direction. This feature could be really helpful for someone who works with a coworker and is used to tilting their monitor to show their screen to someone nearby, too.
He also has been putting his computer monitor on a stack of books, because it was causing him neck pain when he tried to leave the monitor directly on the desk, it was jus too short. The books have successfully raised his monitor to a better height, but it’s obviously just not an ideal set up!

This monitor stand can hold a monitor that weighs up to 40lbs. It also has a built in tray to allow for a bit of storage of items like writing utensils, paper clips, binder clips, staples, whatever other small items you may use at your office.
Kensington offers a variety of computer accessories and home office gear. If you or someone you know has transitioned to working from home or otherwise could benefit from a home office upgrade, check out the Kensington site to find them a great gift!

I need one for all the pens I end up throwing all over my desk and paper clips etc. Looks like a gift both my kids would use as well I like the design of it too.

That’s so awesome. I’m using now just a couple of books as a stand, but this one is on my list now

This would definitely be helpful for our home office. It saves you from having to pick up the laptop and turn it. The organizer is a nice feature too.

This Kensington® SmartFit® Spin2™ Monitor Stand looks like a super useful product. I love organizing my desk and computer area. This would be perfect for my son in his room.

I love that stand! I love that it can move if you need to angle the computer a different way and the tray would be so useful! I homeschool and spend a good bit of time working on the computer, so I feel like I’m always looking downward. I like that this could raise the monitor a bit, so computer work would be less strenuous on my neck!

I know have double screens at work plus a laptop all on a standing desktop. This would help keep it more organized and easier viewing.

What a cool idea for a computer monitor! It can definitely be very handy to have one that swivels around, rather than having to physically turn it around every time. I also rely on streaming services and my computer as well to watch things. Thank you so much for your review!

My hubby would LOVE this! He has been programming our led light show outside the past few weeks and on his computer constantly! He is so sore! This would totally help.

Such a nice monitor stand! I love the storage tray. My son could really use this. He has been mostly working from home the past several months and spends a lot of time on his computer.
