Thank you to Out Of The Woods for providing me with products to facilitate my blog review. All opinions are 100% my own.

A few weeks ago, my daughter and I sat in the car waiting for volleyball practice. She was on her phone scrolling through her social media. She showed me a website with a lunch bag she was interested in getting for school. She was drawn to the brand not only for its collection of cute bags but also because of its dedication to the environment and desire to help educate its customers.

Out Of The Woods specializes in bags made with Supernatural Paper™. Supernatural Paper™ is a durable and washable material made from tree cellulose. Trees are a renewable resource. Out Of The Woods attains their cellulose from responsibly managed forests. Their bags are more sustainable with a lower carbon footprint than traditional bags made with leather, cotton, or other materials used for bags, especially those that are made with petroleum-based materials. Out Of The Woods’ commitment to making materials supernatural doesn’t end there as a growing number of their products are also FSC®-certified (FSC® C153080).

While my daughter and I were looking at the assortment of bags available, my other daughter joined our discussion. She also found a lunch bag she wanted. I reached out to Out Of the Woods to see if they would be interested in a review and they were.

Savannah selected the Walrus Mini Lunch in Stone color. The Walrus Mini Lunch bag is insulated. Its Dimensions: 9.5”(L) x 7.1”(W) x 7.8”(H). That’s approximately 12 cans of soda. The Walrus Mini Lunch bag has an outer shell made with Supernatural Paper™, a small pocket, handles made with polycotton, and a zipper closure. The inner lining is made with PEVA and it has a mesh pocket.

Savannah packs her lunch for school. She also includes a snack to have in between class and volleyball practice. She said the Walrus Mini Lunch bag is a great size. She can fit everything in it. She said it does a great job of keeping things cold.

Cheyenne wanted the Hedgehog Lunch bag in Ebony color. The Hedgehog Lunch bag is contrasting panels made from washable Supernatural Paper™. The exterior has an easy-to-use handle and buckle straps made with cotton webbing and a brass pin closure. The inside of the bag is insulated to keep food fresh for longer. It is made with PEVA. The Hedgehog Lunch bag is 9.1”(L) x 7.1”(W) x 11.0”(H) in size, or 6 cans of soda.

Cheyenne uses her bag mainly for taking drinks and a snack to volleyball practice. She has a longer time between class and practice than Savannah does. Cheyenne said the Hedgehog Lunch bag has done everything she hoped it would.

While the girls were shopping on the Out Of The Woods website I was too. I found the Walrus Cooler in Sahara and decided it would be perfect for me.

The Walrus Cooler is similar to Savannah’s Walrus Mini Lunch bag. Just like the girls’ bags, the Walrus Cooler is made with Supernatural Paper™, cotton webbing handles, and a PEVA interior. It has a pocket on the front exterior and a mesh pocket inside. The dimensions are 12.4”(L) x 7.1”(W) x 12.8”(H). That is approximately 24 soda cans.

My first time using the Walrus Cooler was at a volleyball tournament. For 12 hours we were in a school gym watching game after game. I had drinks and snacks for all of us. It worked great!

Not only are we impressed with our Out Of The Woods bags, but we are also thrilled to support a company that understands that trees are a renewable resource. My husband has a degree in Forest Management. We live in Oregon. Oregon has strict replanting laws. We see the cycle of trees being planted, managed, harvested, and starting again. As long as rules are respected, it isn’t any different than growing any other crop.
