Donner OURA S100 Digital Piano
As we head into the holiday season, I’m looking for all the non-screen gifts for my kids. Don’t get me wrong, we love iPad and movie time, but I want to slow down and have my kids do more activities without screens as well. One of these activities is exploring piano. Both of our kids have expressed interest in taking piano lessons, so I figured having them start by exploring a weighted keyboard would be a great option. We have loved Donner keyboards in the past, so when I heard about this one I was super excited!
The Donner OURA S100 Home Digital Piano is super easy to assemble; simply attach the legs and plug in the foot pedals/power cord. I had it assembled in less than fifteen minutes and immediately my kids were ready to give it a try! The sound of this digital keyboard is beautiful; you can switch between musical options like guitar, bass, and organ in addition to piano.
The keys are weighted to simulate the feeling of an acoustic piano, and the touch and resistance are optimized for beginners, making it great for kids, teens, and adults as well. There are three built-in demo songs and various settings you can change depending on your needs. I love that the piano comes with a foot pedal to, even further mimicking a full-sized piano without taking up all that space.
Our kids have already started learning a few songs on the piano and I love hearing music throughout the house! I look forward to hearing even more as they explore this keyboard and potentially lessons. If you’re looking for a gift that will last for years, check out a Donner keyboard!
