Kelsie’s First Year – With Nuk Review & Giveaway (3/12)

*I was provided with products from Nuk in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own. When my niece Kelsie was born last March, she had a bit of a rough start. She stayed in the hospital for a couple of weeks after being born for various reasons, one of which being that she would only eat for small amounts of time before she would quit sucking. Even while she was eating, she wasn't latching onto a bottle very well and the milk would spill across her face. She wasn't taking in enough nutrition Read more [...]

Softbums Echo Pod System Cloth Diaper Review & Giveaway (US) 3/7

Thank you Softbums for providing me a sample Echo Diaper and Pod System, free of charge, to facilitate this review.  All opinions are my own. The beginning of 2014 brought a big change for me.  I started cloth diapering!  I had a few diapers already on hand because I had wanted to try cloth with baby #3 but I only lasted through one diaper change before reverting back to disposables.  Now our 4th child was 18 months old and he started reacting to the "green" disposables we were paying a Read more [...]

Lambie & Me 2-Pack Swaddle Blankets Review & Giveaway ~2 Winners~ (US & Canada) 2/17

Back when I had our first child almost 9 years ago, I don't recall hearing anything about swaddling.  I remember the nurses wrapping/swaddling her up nice but there was no emphasis in continuing that pattern once we got home.  Since it worked so well in the hospital, I did try at home but none of our blankets worked very well.  They were either too small, too big, or too bulky.  If "swaddling blankets" were on the market, I don't recall ever coming across them.  Our 4th child just turned Read more [...]

Whisper Odor-Free Diaper Pail Review & Giveaway (US) 2/12

When we were expecting our first child, one of the many things I registered for was a diaper pail.  While we did receive it, the cover and springs broke within a few months.  So we decided to get the one on all the tv commercials that was supposed to be so great.  Each time a diaper was inserted, an easy twisting motion would tie the diaper and prevent the smells from escaping.  That one completely bombed.  During the six months we used it, I never once got the diaper to do that.  My husband Read more [...]

BobaAir Baby Carrier Review & Giveaway (1/31)

Back in October I shared a blog post discussing Why I love My Boba Wrap carrier. After Kelsie hit the 15lb mark, I was eager to try more carrier types such as the BobaAir because it works for babies 15-45lbs. It can be worn as a front carrier for babies 15-30lbs and as a back carrier for babies 20-45lbs. Kelsie is 10 months old and 17lbs so she has to be worn in the front for a little while yet. She is really active and wiggly now, pulling up to furniture and even walking between pieces of furniture Read more [...]

LINAJAKE Diaper Bag Review, Coupon Code and Giveaway! US Only (2/2)

For my review I was sent a LINAJAKE Diaper Bag.  All opinions are my own. LINAJAKE is a great company that I was recently introduced to.  They sell high-end diaper bags that are super trendy and come in amazing colors.  If you are like me, choosing a diaper bag can be a very hard task.  Most diaper bags seem so big, bulky and just a hassle not to mention an eye sore as well.  LINAJAKE has taken all of that away with their chic diaper bags.  I feel like the bag is big enough to fit all of Read more [...]

Keekaroo Peanut Diaper Changer Review

When we had our first child, we purchased a dresser that had a flip open "changing area" on top.  While it was a nice large area, we had to flip it closed to get into her dresser so it was a pain.  Because it was being flipped multiple times a day, we couldn't have a traditional changing pad so I had my Grandma sew a thick "mat" that I could flip in half with the dresser top.  After we upgraded to a nicer dresser/changing station, I purchased a changing pad.  While I never really cared for Read more [...]

Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Pacifier Review

As most of you know by now I am a big Tommee Tippee fan.  For this review I received 3 packs of the new Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature pacifiers that have just hit the stores this month.  I am excited because I was sent 3 different sizes so I am pretty much set until we decide to wean Baby A from his pacifier.  Right now Baby A is using the 0-3 month size.  There is also a 0-6 month size, but they are a little bit bigger and Baby A isn't that fond of them yet.  I think he will be more interested Read more [...]
