Warming bottles on the go can be a frustrating process. We learned this all to well when our daughter was a baby. She was the type of baby who wanted her bottles really warm and she wanted them the moment she decided she was hungry. One day, we were strolling around the mall when she was about 9 months old and she decided it was time to eat. Enter: small cry. So we headed to the bathroom so I could warm the bottle up in the sink. However, they had just remodeled all the bathrooms with automatic faucets. Which meant luke warm water at best. Enter: large cry. We are walking through the mall trying to figure out what to do. We asked an employee if there was any place to get hot water and he pointed us in the right direction. By this time, (I’m assuming because of the wailing baby) we have a security guard following us! I’m getting anxious. People are staring. This shopping trip was turning into a nightmare. We get to the coffee kiosk and get a cup of hot water. 5 minutes later, we now have a happy baby again. The guard parted ways with us and nobody is staring any more. Phew.  There has to be a better way.

I was sent the WarmZe Large Starter Kit (in black and white cow), WarmZe Small Starter Kit and a set of NUK bottles.

The Large Starter Kit includes 1 Print BottleSoc and 2 Warming Wraps.  The Small Starter Kit includes 1 Print BottleSoc and 2 Warming Wraps.  As you can see in the picture, the only difference between these kits is the size.  They both retail for $14.99.

The WarmZe is very easy to use.  You just place the BottleSoc on your bottle.  (This fits most bottles so you don’t need to purchase a special one.)

Then pull up the outer layer on the BottleSoc and open a Warming Wrap.  These Warming Wraps are air activated so you don’t have to worry about messy gels, electricity, or batteries.  Wrap the Warming Wrap onto the bottom layer of the BottleSoc.

Then just pull the top layer back down over the Warming Wrap and you’re all set.  Everything is in place to start warming up your bottle.  The directions say that the warmer takes 30 minutes to reach maximum temperature.   I mistook that thinking the bottle would be fully warmed by that 30 minute mark.  However, it took closer to 2 hours for the bottle to be ready.  So keep that in mind when using this product and make sure you put it on with some time to spare.  But the nice thing is that the BottleSoc and Warming Wrap keep the bottle warm so it’s ready when you are.  Just pull it out, test it (although I found it to be the perfect temp for hours), and feed the baby.  Then place the next bottle in it and you’ll be ready for the next feeding.  No need to take off the Warming Wrap from the BottleSoc.  The bottles just slipped in and out easily.

These Warming Wraps last up to 12 hours so you can reuse multiple times in one day.  However, they are not reusable so you will need to buy replacements after use as there is no way to make them heat again.

I tested the sizes on both small (4 oz.) and large (8 oz.) bottles.  I found that I liked the Large Kit better as it would work for either size and I wouldn’t have to worry about it being too small.  These are all “smaller” bottles ranging from 4 to 6 ounces.  You can see that both size wraps would work well.  The far left picture is a large set.  The middle picture is a small set.  The far right picture shows both sets on 4 ounce bottles.

I think this is a great resource for parents on the go with a baby.  I like the fact that it is so portable.  The WarmZe takes up very little space.  It brings such ease to a sometimes difficult task.  I wish I would have had this available to me that fateful day at the mall.

You can connect with WarmZe on Facebook and Twitter.
