There’s a new little boutique in town called Blondie’s Boutique & Tikki Beach. It’s a great little shop that sells purses, wallets, scarves, jewelry, hair accessories and headbands, essential oils, and air brush spray tans. I’ll admit right away, my cousin Holly is the owner and operator of this shop. However, I always do my best to be honest. I won’t lie, steal, or cheat for anyone and that includes family. To me, it doesn’t matter who owns it. I’m just looking for quality products for affordable prices.
Blondie’s Boutique & Tikki Beach Tanning gave me a “pink set” to review. This included a makeup “train” case, flower headband, stretchy headband, pink bow clip, bracelet, and scarf to review. This set retails at Blondie’s Boutique & Tikki Beach Tanning for a total of $22.50 for all the products pictured. To me, that’s a great price. I had been looking for a makeup case for our 8 year old daughter (not for makeup but for Squinkies) and was finding that I was going to have to shell out $20+ for a pretty flimsy one at the big box stores around here. So I had been holding off purchasing one in hopes of finding something a little more affordable. I couldn’t be happier with this case. It’s very sturdy and included a removable strap for carrying. So you can either have a long strap “handle” or just use the short handle that’s attached to the cover. This case beats all the ones I had been looking at so far.
The flower headband is very cute. This carries a price tag of only $2.00. I could easily see little 2, 3, and 4 year old girls just loving the big flower. Our daughter, at age 8, thinks it great. However, every girl is different. This is definitely a “girly” girl headband so keep that in mind if you decide to purchase one. If you have a little princess, then this is for you. The little pink bow clip is small/medium in size and is another cute little accessory. With a selling tag of $.50, I think it’s a cute clip that will match a ton of our daughters clothes. The stretchy headband (these sell for $.50) is cute but, in my opinion, for a younger child. I don’t think our 8 year old will wear it much. This is the type of headband that I’ve seen people attach a large flower clip to. That’s very cute on small children. The bracelet is from the Paparazzi line of jewelry and is only $1.00. It’s multiple colors and cute and “chunky”. The colors are really pretty in person. Our daughter loves it. My friend’s 3 and 5 year old girls each have one and really like their bracelets as well. Because it’s stretchy, it is very easy to get on and off. I like that because it lets kids be more independent. I would think that this bracelet would fit a child as young as 2 but I would only use under supervision with a child that age.
The animal print scarf is adorable but thin. Which also makes it very lightweight. However, with a price tag of $3.00, there can be few complaints. It’s a great purse scarf. Or would be cute on a young girl or a smaller woman. Scarves are very popular right now but I have not jumped on that band wagon quite yet. I own a couple and like them but it’s hard to wear a scarf with a nursing infant. Perhaps I’ll wear them more after our baby has weaned. I really do like the look of scarves so I think I’ll be adding to my collection then.

You can find most purses for $15 to $30 as well. If you see a “package” you like but want something separated from it, she’s flexible. Blondie’s Boutique & Tikki Beach Tanning is almost always running a purse auction on their Facebook page. The current one (actually two) runs till April 6th and then a new one will be posted. The single purse is currently at $16 at the time I’m typing this and the purse/wallet (Zebra print!) combo is waiting to get a starting bid of $30.
There are a bunch of things in her albums that I’ve been eying up lately. Especially some of the purses. I really like purses but have a hard time finding “the” one so I rarely purchase new ones any more. Years ago, I’d have a different purse every month but that got too expensive. Here are some cute ones that have caught my eye though. She has combined items for a cute “package” but will separate. One thing I would change though is to have more inventory options to choose from. While they do have a couple hundred items, more is always good.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.
