Along with the New Year comes many resolutions. While I don’t really make a resolution, I do come up with some thoughts and ideas on things I’d like to see in the new year, changes I would like to make, and things I’d like to try. Of these, I’m trying to get a little more organized, giving cloth diapering another go (I’ve previously only succeeded to last through one diaper change), and I plan to spend more time outdoors with the kids once our Minnesota weather warms up! One last idea that my husband and I have talked about was starting to take a short jog down to the creek daily together. This idea came about for multiple reasons. It would be something fun for the two of us to do. We would have 15 minutes to ourselves in our crazy daily lives. Plus, we would both like to loose a couple pounds and get a little healthier.

I’ve said it before and it still holds true. Water is my beverage of choice. Having a glass or bottle of ice water on hand to drink is high on my list of priorities. While I love water, I’m picky to the extent that it has to be cold and can not be flavored. I just don’t like warm water or flavored waters. I’ve used water bottles in the past that were not double insulated and struggled with the fact that, while there was still ice, the outside of the bottle was covered with condensation and, once the ice melted (typically within an hour or so), the water was warm. So I was thrilled when I came across Hydro Flask and learned that all of their products are double wall vacuum insulated.
Once my Hydro Flask Bottles arrived, I washed them up with hot soapy water, as instructed. It was perfect timing because we were heading to a hotel for the night so the kids could enjoy some swimming during our Minnesota freeze that’s happening. I was happy to have the 40 Ounce Hydro Flask Bottle to fill for my husband and I and the 18 ounce for our children so we could bring them down to the pool and exercise room with us.
The loop that holds the cap to the bottle makes a great little hook for carrying the bottles. I do like the feature that the cap is attached so I don’t have to worry about losing it. However, for those who don’t care for the looped flat cap, they also carry other options: Loop Cap, Flip Lid, Flat Cap, and Wide Straw Lid. We really liked the Hydro Flask Bottles. The 18 ounce is a perfect size for on the go but I like to have a larger one available as well in case I will be gone all day. The 40 ounce is the perfect size to prevent me from running out of my ice cold water.

I love bottles like this. I always need new ways to carry around my water. I really should drink more water. I like the size of this water bottle.

I have owned Hydroflask bottles for about 4 years. I have the 24 oz, 64 and the 40. I just recently purchased the straw lid for my 40 oz. It also makes it easier to drink more water as you just flip and suck! Love my Hydroflask bottles. Can’t do without them.
