Outside Inside Games ~ Great Christmas Gift Ideas

I received product from Outside Inside Gifts to facilitate this post.  All opinions are my own.

I can hardly believe that the first whole week of December is already gone.  We still don’t even have our tree  yet!  Last week was just way too cold here in Minnesota to venture out with all five kiddos but we are hoping that this Sunday will warm up.  At least enough for us to brave the outdoors and go get our tree.  This will be our second year with a real tree and everyone is excited.  We had a great time picking and cutting down our tree last year and we are looking forward to continuing the tradition.  And with that said, it’s also time to get finish up that Christmas shopping!  With less than 20 days till Christmas, the hunt is on.

Games Are A Great Choice!

For everyone on those gift lists, games make a great choice.  From the time children are toddlers, interest in games is already evident.  All the way through adulthood, I’ve found games to be a staple.  Even my grandparents, who are in their 80s, love to still play games!

Outside Inside Games

So this year, I turned to Outside Inside Games for help.  They have a really fun selection of games that can be played indoors or out and are geared for a variety of ages.  Designed by outdoor enthusiasts, their games are unique and made to deliver tons of fun!  Whether you’re looking for adventures in the backyard, at a campground, at home, or backpacking across the land, check them out.

Let’s Play Darts!

Our kids have been obsessed with darts lately.  Every time we go to grandpa and grandma’s house, that’s what they want to do.  So I thought the Trophy Hunter Magnetic Darts would be a great choice. Perfect for the basement or my boys’ room, this magnetic dart set will allow the boys to go hunting for the big game, right from the house.  Featuring a classic dart board on one side plus an outdoor game on the back, not only is this game fun, it’s safe for all ages!  It measures in at 18.75  x 14 in. and features flexible, magnetized surface.  And I love that it comes with a mesh travel bag to make it easy to take the fun on the go.

Mancala Time

We were visiting my cousin recently and our kids got their first taste of the game Mancala.  And now they’ve been asking for it ever since!  So the Backpack Mancala Game was an easy choice for me. Made to be lightweight and easy to travel, this century old game measures in at 6.75” x 4” x 1.25” (folded), 14” x 4” x 1.25” (open). Featuring 48 beads marbles, instructions, and travel bag, the player with the most beads at the end is the winner!

They also have a fantastic selection of Cribbage Boards that I am totally eyeing up as it’s one of my favorite card games as well as so much more!

So tell me, who would you give one of these games to?

I like the idea of the inside and outside games especially as the time for snow storms are approaching. Hopefully they hold and we can play them outside though, lol

I love the magnetic darts that don’t have the pointed tip. My children are 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 years old, and they would enjoy this. I’m always looking or activities that will help my older daughter’s visual motor perception. This would be a great activity for her.

My son had a mancala game years ago that we all really liked. This one is great that you can take it with you.

My niece and her family enjoy playing games. They lose cell phone signal less than 5 minutes from there home and no internet or TV unless it movies. So they play games, read and talk

This would be a good place to check out

I really like these games, especially the checkers. I used to play checkers as a kid and loved it.

Mancala sounds really fun and interesting. I had never heard of this game. I like that there are so many nice family games available that I can enjoy with my kids.
