Thank you to Simply Earth for sending me product in exchange for this review. As always, all opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links. We are avid essential oil users, so when I heard about Simply Earth and their monthly subscription box, I knew it was something I needed to get my hands on. Rather than using harsh chemicals in our home, we prefer to use natural products and complement them with essential oils. This is true for things like cleaners, laundry detergent, lotion, body Read more [...]

Thank you to KidStuff PR for sending me these Eggmazing Egg Decorators! As always, all opinions are my own. When it comes to holidays, I LOVE them, and I really love decorating for them. After Christmas, Easter is my favorite holiday. After a long winter in Minnesota, it's always our welcome into spring with fun family events and of course, Easter egg coloring and hunts! We usually color eggs at least a few different times for Easter, but with two kids under six it can get so messy. Sometimes Read more [...]

Thank you to PBS for sending two DVDs for review in exchange for my honest opinion. We try to limit the TV and screen time our daughter gets daily, but this winter the screen time limit definitely was stretched due to the frigid temperatures and the massive amounts of snow we had (plus a newborn baby in the house). Now that it's spring I want her getting outside, get moving and get as much fresh air as possible. TV is going to be reserved for rest time and rainy days. When we do let our daughter Read more [...]

Thank you to Stuck On You for sending me these adorable Bento Boxes. As always, all opinions are my own. I've been on the hunt for bento boxes for quite awhile now. In the summer, we're always heading out the door and packing lunches to take along. I figured bento boxes would be the perfect option for the kids, since they keep everything separate and allow for a variety of food options. When I heard about Stuck On You's Mini Bento Boxes, I knew they would be perfect for our kids, especially since Read more [...]

I received product from Antsy Pants to help facilitate this review.  As always, all opinions are my own. Well, the sun has been shining bright over the past few days and, here in Minnesota, we couldn't be more delighted!  Why, you ask?  Because we STILL HAVE SNOW!  Isn't that crazy?  Just a week or so ago, we had another huge snowstorm.  But with March over half way over, we can't wait for Spring to finally arrive.  And to celebrate, we're gearing up with Antsy Pants Toys, a company that Read more [...]

Thank you to Maxi-Cosi for sending me a Lara Stroller to review. As always, all opinions are my own. If you've been keeping up with my posts, you've probably read that we're headed to the west coast later this spring and I couldn't be more excited! Mostly I'm excited because this has been a never-ending winter (with record snowfall for Minnesota in February!) and I've got the travel bug BAD. Our kids are going to be six and three when we travel this time. We're planning to do a few days in Seattle, Read more [...]

Featured on Shark Tank, this innovative hip carrier can help save your back if you've got a little one. I'm always carrying our son around on my hip, and just recently I started to realize how much it's probably affecting my spine. When I heard about TushBaby, I knew it would be the perfect option for Read more [...]

I received product from Arcopédico to facilitate this post.  As always, all opinions are my own. Snow, rain, and sleet.  That's the kind of weather we are still experiencing here in Minnesota, even though we're into March already!  As a child, I was never thrilled that my birthday was in March.  Most years, even if it was sunny out, the slush and mud was too much for anyone to go outdoors.  Now even as an adult, I'd definitely choose a warmer birthday month if I could.   So to help survive Read more [...]
