Granite Gold Inc. is a family owned company whose expertise is lined with Italian heritage and dates back to the 1950’s. Time and time again, the family would be asked how to clean the stone surfaces they had just restored or installed. There seemed to be no good answers on the market which led the Lenny’s to form Granite Gold Inc. in 2003. I have a dura-ceramic tile floor with grout spacings in between.  When I chose my floor, the sales lady talked me into going with a really light colored grout.  The original grout color I chose was quite a bit darker.  Now I wish I had went with my gut because the grout on my floor shows dirt easily.  We have had our floor for two years and I have tried everything to clean that grout.  Nothing worked.  So when I was given the opportunity to work with Granite Gold Inc. and give their Grout Cleaner a try, I was excited but skeptical.  Check out the before and after photos.

I still can’t believe the difference.  I am so happy to have found something that works and is still safe.  Granite Gold Grout Cleaner is safe to use on food-prep surfaces, non-toxic, no ammonia, and biodegradable, not to mention it comes with the Granite Gold Grout Brush to aid in the removal of dirt.

I was also sent the Granite Gold Stone & Tile Floor Cleaner.  I haven’t had as much trouble getting the tiles cleaned as I did the grout but I was happy to try a new floor cleaner too.  This formula is also non-toxic, pH-banlanced, biodegradable, and contains no ammonia.  I was pleasantly surprised that Granite Gold’s advertising of streak resistant held true.  I have used cleaners in the past that took me longer to fix the lines left behind than it took to scrub.  I always scrub on my hands and knees so that becomes frustrating.  With Granite Gold’s Stone & Tile Floor Cleaner, I had no issues.  It easily cleaned my floor and left me streak free with a slight shine.  Plus, it was so easy to use.  I just added the correct amount into my pail of hot water and I was all set to clean.

The last product I received was the Granite Gold Shower Cleaner.  About a year ago, we replaced our old plastic tub/shower unit with tile.  It looks so much nicer than the flimsy plastic walls it replaced.  Boasting the same standards as the previous products, the Shower Cleaner is also safe on your bath and shower fixtures.  It’s hard to see the results on the shower tiles but there was definitely a small difference.  There has also been some yellow substance on our backsplash along our bathroom vanity (perhaps glue from when they installed the backsplash?) so I though I’d give it a try there as well.  I have tried everything, and I mean everything, to get that off.  My mom, grandma, and friend have also all tried with no luck.  I sprayed some Shower Cleaner on it and started scrubbing.  While I wasn’t able to remove all of it, there is definitely a big difference.  I’m hoping with time, I’ll be able to completely remove it.
