Our five year old daughter recently moved into her own bedroom and she has been doing fairly well sleeping on her own. However, it does tend to take her a long time to fall asleep. She distracts herself to stay awake any way she can, and when she wakes during the night she usually comes in our room. Our three year old son co-sleeps with us. While I enjoy it most of the time, there are some nights I wish I could scoot him over and keep him nearby without being completely cuddled up to me.
