Victor compact desk

I was sent the Victor Technology DCX610 High Rise™ Height Adjustable Compact Standing Desk With Keyboard Tray for review. All opinions are my own.

A few weeks ago I shared my Victor High Rise Height Adjustable Electric Full Stading Desk review. I’d encourage you to read the whole review if you’re considering a full electric standing desk. In a nutshell, Ryan and I were really happy with that desk.

So, you may be wondering why I’m now posting a new review for a compact standing desk. The truth is, we had a miscommunication that led to a shipping error. We didn’t originally intend to get this compact desk for review, but we were still happy to check it out and do a review. In this review you’ll see us place the compact desk on the full electric standing desk.

This is a little silly because the full standing desk can texted really high on its own, so you absolutely wouldn’t need to use these two desks together. We just don’t have another desk to show you this compact standing desk on. So, please use your imagination to envision that this could work on any table or ordinary desk! We’ll just pretend that you don’t all know that the base desk shown is height adjustable! Haha.

Victor Technology DCX610 High Rise™ Height Adjustable Compact Standing Desk With Keyboard Tray Review

This compact standing desk is intended to be used on top of most any standard sit-dow desk or table. If you currently work from a basic desk or table, you can add this compact standing desk to your current set up so that you can raise your computer screen and work standing up!

Sitting for too long is bad for our health, but many of us have little choice but to be in front of our computers for several hours a day while working. With this compact standing desk, you can spend some of that time in front of your computer standing rather than sitting the whole time.

The surface of the compact desk is 32.5″ wide and 18″ deep. It can be used with just that portion, or you can add on the keyboard tray. The keyboard tray is 32.5″ wide by 13″ deep.

The desk height can adjust as high as 19″, and the keyboard tray to as high as 15″. The compact desk uses a gas spring system, so adjusting the desk height is a smooth process rather than a jerky one. There is a lever on one side that you press while putting pressure on the desk to raise or lower it.

The frame of the compact desk is just 16.5″ deep so it easily fits on standard 24″ deep cubicle desks.

The base is steel so it is nice and heavy and won’t tip.

Overall, this is a really well-made compact standing desk! We’ve been really pleased with both products we’ve tested from Victor Techology.

I have the perfect desk this would fit on. This is something both me and my husband could really use!

That would have been perfect when I was working. I had to sit for hours. That would have been a relief.

I’m really going to have to get one of these. I spend several hours a day at the computer. I have sciatica and bursitis (ouch!) and I find I have to keep getting up and standing, and then sit down again. Of course, when I stand, I can’t do any work. This would solve my problem. And I really like that you say it’s bottom heavy and won’t tip over. That would be a disaster!

Standing Desks are really a cool invention, I can definitely see all of the benefits to having one! I think offices should invest in them as well, as sitting for long periods of time isn’t good for us. I love that this one is so compact yet still has all of the awesome features!

A colleague of mine uses a standing desk but I’ve never tried it. I guess I just assume I will get sore feet, but I suppose I shouldn’t write it off without trying it! This article and review made me think I will. Thank you!
