CSB New Teen Study Bible Review + Giveaway
Our kids just keep on growing! We have two teens and one tween in the house now (along with our caboose of course)! But it’s honestly crazy to me how fast time goes once you have kids.
As our kids grow, we’re always looking for ways to continue building on our Christian faith; especially as a family. We attend church weekly together, the kids participate in youth group, we belong to a Christian homeschool co-op, and everyone in our family has their own Bible. While those things give our kids a strong foundation, I also want them to learn how to dig into Scripture for themselves. (As opposed to always relying on an adult to explain it to them.) So when I had the opportunity to check out the CSB Teen Study Bible, I was excited to add it to our collection.
A Study Bible Created Specifically For Teens
One of the things that immediately stood out to me about the CSB Teen Study Bible is that it isn’t simply an adult study Bible with a more youthful-looking cover. The additional content was created with teens and preteens in mind.
My husband and I are always saying how kids today are growing up in a world that is SO different than what we had. While we had to visit a school library to find information, kids today have access at all times; many right in their pocket. Between social media, AI, friends, influencers, and everything else online; kids are constantly hearing different opinions about what is true. My goal is for my children to know how to turn to Scripture, investigate questions, and develop a faith that is genuinely their own. And the CSB Teen Study Bible is designed to help them do exactly that.
Questions Teens Are Actually Asking
One of my favorite features is this Bible’s Q&A-style study approach. Many of the study features begin with questions teens may actually have. Sometimes simply opening a Bible and deciding where to begin can feel overwhelming. (I know it is for me anyway!) Having questions and study helps throughout gives teens a starting point while encouraging them to look more closely at what Scripture says. It’s also a feature that could lead to some really good conversations at home.
More Than Just Bible Text
There are also several additional resources incorporated throughout the CSB Teen Study Bible to help young readers go deeper. And along with the Q&A study features, teens will find devotionals focused on personal growth and topical articles addressing more complex questions about faith. The goal with this Bible is to help students make connections between what they’re reading in Scripture and the situations they encounter in everyday life.
But I also especially appreciate how the study content isn’t there to replace reading the Bible itself. Instead, it’s designed to encourage teens to spend more time in Scripture and better understand what they’re reading.

As my kids get older, I’ve realized that raising them in our faith changes. When they were young, we did the majority of the teaching. But as they move into the tween, teen, and adult years, I feel that part of our job as parents becomes giving them the tools they need to begin searching, studying, and asking questions for themselves.
